We’ll be partnering with Twitter for the upcoming #ATA2016, which will be held in early December. This strategic partnership is set to increase the social conversations that will happen during the “live” broadcast event on 2 December.
The partnership also includes its other social media channels such as Vine and live-streaming app Periscope. Through these platforms, the aim is to provide exclusive content that is not available in the traditional broadcast.
“Through this strategic partnership, we’ll be using Twitter for both livestreaming and short form, real-time video formats to showcase the best moments at the Asian Television Awards. With the creative use of Twitter, Periscope and Vine, we are confident in bringing Asia’s biggest television awards and the award winners to a wider audience around the world.” – Pratiksha Rao, Head of Media Partnerships, Twitter Southeast Asia.
Pop Phenomenon, Charli XCX and multi Golden Melody Awards winner, JJ Lin, will be headlining our awards show. Hosted by Adrian Pang, Stephanie Carrington and Baki Zainal, Asian Television Awards 2016 will be held on 2 December from 8pm to 10.30pm at Suntec City Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
